Atrium Labs

Atrium Labs

Atrium Labs is a converted life science development from Longfellow in the heart of Emeryville’s growing innovation hub, designed to offer both scale and character in a market crowded with generic lab space. Positioned for tenants ranging from 30,000 to 200,000 square feet, the campus needed a brand that could speak to emerging companies and established teams alike, emphasizing flexibility, services, and a distinct sense of place rather than just square footage.

The identity centers on Atrium Labs’ core advantages: unmatched scalability, elevated tenant experience, and a dramatic architectural arrival. The brand story highlights how Longfellow’s platform and its Elevate concierge and amenity services adapt to a wide range of tenant needs—supporting teams as they grow, add programs, or reconfigure space over time. Visually and verbally, the system balances precision and warmth, reflecting both the technical rigor of life science work and the day-to-day reality of people spending significant time on campus.

Architectural cues play a central role in the expression. Generous ceiling heights and expansive atrium windows become signature elements in the storytelling, reinforcing Atrium Labs as a bright, open, and energizing environment rather than an enclosed, industrial-feeling facility. The brand also leverages its enviable Emeryville location—immediate access to I-80 and the Bay Bridge, walkability to Public Market Emeryville, and proximity to the Aquatic Park Path—to position Atrium Labs as a place where work, connection, and everyday life intersect seamlessly.
