Chelsea Paris
Blending the renowned principles of fine European craftsmanship with African-inspired color, pattern, and detail, Chelsea Paris is designed for conscientious free spirits who refuse to compromise on craft, character, or comfort. The brand needed an identity system that could honor that duality—elevated yet expressive, rooted in heritage yet flexible enough to show up consistently across collections, seasons, and channels.
The engagement focused on transforming an existing identity into a more strategic, system-driven brand foundation. Work included clarifying core visual principles, codifying typography, color, and layout rules, and building comprehensive brand guidelines that could be referenced by internal teams, wholesale partners, and collaborators. This structure made it easier to brief creative partners, maintain visual coherence across campaigns, and scale the brand without reinventing the system each season.
The identity system then carried through into a redesigned digital experience. Art direction and user interface design translated the brand’s materiality—leathers, textures, and prints—into a modern ecommerce environment that balanced editorial storytelling with straightforward shopping flows. By handing the development team a clear, detailed design blueprint, the new website reduced ambiguity in build, streamlined collaboration, and ensured Chelsea Paris could present a cohesive brand experience from hero imagery down to product detail pages.
